What Sets Us Apart
We realize that there is a great relationship between your dental health and general overall health. We also realize that self-esteem and self-confidence are closely related to an aesthetically pleasing smile. The team at Commonwealth Dental Group are dedicated to helping every patient achieve their own personal goals in the most comfortable, professional, and compassionate way possible.
WHAT MAKES CDG UNIQUE?
- Our doctors and staff promise to listen to you. We want to know what your goals and aspirations are. You should feel free to approach any member of our team with any questions or concerns you have at any point during your treatment.
- We share the office with a group of world-renowned periodontists which not only allows us to jointly consult with patients and collaborate on the treatment plans, but we offer the convenience of treating the patient together in the same space. This makes coordination of complex treatments easy. We can do surgery and restorative procedures on the same day in the same space.
- We have several pieces of state-of-the-art technologies including i-CAT®, CEREC®, intraoral cameras in every room, and digital radiography.
- Most unique is our Solea® laser which lets us prepare teeth for fillings, remove soft tissue for gingivectomies and crown lengthening, and also remove benign growths… all without a needle! Ninety-five percent of the procedures done with Solea are done without local anesthesia, and patients love it!

DR. MIZNER AND COMMONWEALTH DENTAL GROUP MAKE HISTORY
On July 31, 2013, Dr. Mizner performed the very first cavity prep using the Solea dental laser on a live patient. The procedure was accomplished without anesthesia on the CEO of the company, Michael Cataldo at the office of Commonwealth Dental Group. The Solea is the most advanced dental laser in the industry, able to cut teeth, soft tissue (gums) and even bone without the need for anesthetics.
